JL approached me shortly after receiving an AHDH diagnosis. She was questioning if it was valid and wanted clearer understanding on how ADHD affected her and where she could make changes to improve her quality of life. She specifically wanted to feel calmer, steadier and more at peace with herself and reduce her tendency to over-commit. We worked together over 4 months with sessions two weeks apart.

“The coaching sessions I had with Hazel were wonderful. I wasn’t sure what to expect and I’d only recently received my ADHD diagnosis, but it had been suggested as a source of support so I decided to give it a try.

From the very first phone call, Hazel made me feel at ease. Having listened to my situation she explained how she could help and we agreed a series of fortnightly sessions. Hazel guided me through these with care and expertise, adapting and flexing to my needs whilst reminding me of my goals. The sessions became a refuge from my busy life to pause and reflect. Hazel was able to support me in gaining a clearer understanding of how ADHD was impacting my life, then offer models and systems which helped provide structure and perspective to my thinking.

Having someone knowledgeable, objective, attentive and incredibly caring was hugely helpful and the tools Hazel gave, helped me prioritise and check my actions in stages of self doubt, overwhelm and excitement. I heard someone say in a CPD session, “Don’t ADHD alone” and having worked with Hazel, I wholeheartedly agree.”

“I came to Hazel following a late diagnosis of ADHD which had completely shifted my understanding of myself.   As a leader, I had struggled in cultures that didn’t value creativity and I found it difficult to manage frustration and often lost focus during routine or mundane tasks. The diagnosis helped me see there was never anything “wrong” with me and, whilst it wasn’t a surprise, there was a lot to take in.

During our sessions, Hazel helped me remove what I can only describe as my “ADHD blindfold.” With her support, I’ve been able to recognise and develop my strengths, like my ability to hyperfocus, think clearly and get straight to the point, maintain a lean and efficient working style and bring high energy to driving teams forward.  Hazel’s approach is refreshingly no-nonsense. She is direct, practical and incredibly effective—something that works perfectly for I learn best. At the same time, she brings a deep understanding and empathy for the challenges that come late discovery and it made a huge difference in how quickly I was able to make sense of things.

Thanks to Hazel, I can move forward without shame. I have healthier ways to manage my emotions and fully embrace my creativity, drive and ambition. I would highly recommend Hazel to anyone looking to better understand themselves, unlock their strengths and thrive professionally.”

“When it came to engaging an executive coach of my own I chose Hazel for two reasons. Firstly I knew that her intuitive style of coaching and incredible ability to understand her client’s challenge would fit very well with my requirement but also because I knew that Hazel coaches because she has a real passion for it and is genuinely motivated by helping and enabling people, something I hadn’t witnessed as strongly amongst other coaches.

Hazel gives her client lots of room to offload but is still able to cut through the waffle and laser in on the most pertinent issue, even when the client can’t necessarily see it for themselves at first. This incredible skill has supported me no end and I’ve been very happy to recommend her to other senior executives looking for coaching support who have fed back similarly positive experiences”

“From the moment Hazel and I met I knew that I had found my ideal coach. Hazel maintains a level of presence which is rare in most people. This means that our journey together involved multiple breakthroughs which have empowered me to reach goals I never dreamt were possible. Her knowledge of coaching tools and NLP are also immense and her genuine interest in my sustainable success and happiness meant the world to me. A five star coach. Highly recommended.”

“I’ve had the privilege of working with Hazel over a number of years to help me improve my coaching and leadership skills. It has helped me to gain a deeper understanding about what my natural strengths are and how to notice when I’m using them, as well as when they’re hijacking a situation and my approach is unhelpful. I am much more aware of what happens when my needs are not being met and how to take a more balanced approach by utilising underused strengths.

The benefits have been significant. I’m more aware of my thought processes and my behaviour and whether the contribution is likely to have the impact that I want it to. Ultimately this awareness has helped me make better business decisions. I’m also more accepting of my weaknesses and I am more aware of the strategies that I can adopt to compensate for them.

Hazel is approachable and extremely professional, especially when dealing with sensitive issues, which means I am 100% comfortable wearing my heart on my sleeve. I can get more out of my coaching sessions as a result. I learnt so much about myself which impacted significantly on my life and work. When you learn more about yourself, you better understand the others you work with and as a team you can obtain better results.”

Mark – Managing Director

The coaching Hazel provided to me made a significant positive difference to my effectiveness at work. As Chief Executive of a complex organisation I sometimes felt that although I was always busy I wasn’t always achieving anything. Hazel enabled me to develop a different attitude to my work and to use my time more effectively. I now feel that I have greater control and the skills to identify priorities and delegate effectively. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hazel and feel confident that anyone working with her would have as positive an outcome as I did.
